Architect  ·  Theorist  ·  Visual Artist

Architecture is not a service I provide.
It is a position I take. Every project I accept
is a decision about what the built world should be —
and what it should not.

I work at the intersection of identity, space, and meaning.
Nothing I design is accidental.

Archigenetics

“We build what we are.”

Most architectural theories begin with space. Archigenetics begins with the person — specifically, with the idea that our aesthetic choices are not learned but inherited. That there exists a kind of design DNA, invisible yet consistent, which links how we look, how we dress, and how we build.

Developed by Ibrahim Nawaf Joharji, Archigenetics proposes that architecture is not only a cultural or functional output, but a biological and personal extension of identity. The buildings we create are, in this reading, genetic expressions — mirrors of who we are at a cellular level.

This is not metaphor. It is a framework for research that opens new ground at the intersection of architecture, anthropology, and human perception — and challenges the field to look inward before looking outward.

Four projects. Each chosen deliberately. Each executed with precision. Nothing is included by accident.

01

Diplomatic · Parametric Design

Indonesian Consulate
Building — Jeddah

Design and construction of the new Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Jeddah — commissioned by the Indonesian Government, mandated by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The facade integrates parametric Batik patterns with Islamic geometric references — a rare instance of diplomatic architecture that is culturally bilingual. Published by Designboom.

02

Future City · Confidential

NEOM — Mountain
Resort

Design consultation for a prestigious mountain resort within one of the world’s most ambitious urban development initiatives. High-altitude setting. Uncompromising sustainability standards.

Architecture as a response to extreme terrain — where the natural condition is not overcome but incorporated into the spatial logic of the project.

Architectural Principal

03

Governmental · Strategic

Ministry of Interior
Facilities — Madinah

Design of administrative buildings, warehouses, and workshop complexes for the Ministry of Interior center in the Madinah region — one of several governmental engagements spanning three contracted years.

Governmental architecture demands precision, security, and function above all else. This project reflects a discipline that luxury work alone does not demand.

Project Manager

04

Residential · Luxury

AMA Infinity Villa
— Jeddah

A bespoke luxury residence in Jeddah’s Al-Basatin district. Designed and built in line with green building standards. 770 m² of space where elegance and restraint coexist.

Luxury is not excess. It is the precision to know when to stop — and the confidence to build that way.

Architectural Principal

Ideas that outlast buildings.

Architecture produces objects. Research produces ideas. Both are necessary. Only one endures.

Beyond
Architecture.

The architectural works are deliberate. The artistic works are inevitable. Ibrahim Joharji does not separate the two — he sees them as different expressions of the same inquiry: what does it mean to make something that is truly yours?

TOPOARTIC

Topographic contour lines transformed into a visual and spatial language. Between art and architecture. Between terrain data and poetic form.

IBRA Chair

A Cubist-inspired furniture piece with a dynamic design language that twists and turns. Function meeting formal experimentation.

NEOM Cup

Where art meets engineering identity. A designed object at the intersection of craft, culture, and the future of place.

INJ Mask

A design response to pandemic-era necessity — where constraint becomes creative territory and the everyday object becomes a statement.

The work speaks.
The world responds.
